Obituary for Thomas J. Decort
Decort, Thomas J., 39 of Pemberton, NJ, passed away on March 11, 2017. He was born on October 25, 1977 in Johnstown. The son of Ralph "Skip" Decort, Marie (Kelley) and Judy (Kovalchek) Decort.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie, his grandparents, Erma Mulligan, Ralph Decort, Helen and Thomas Kelley and Ida and Joe Kovalchek. He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Judy, his brother: Jason Fulton and wife Bryce of FL, and their children: Burke and Bergen Fulton and his sister: Dawn Marie Kelley of NY. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Tom was a 1996 graduate of Portage Area Highschool and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice. He was currently employed as Corrections Officer at FCI Fort Dix in NJ. He loved playing his guitar and going to concerts. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. of Portage where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM, Pastor Arthur Black, officiating. Committal will be private to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.decortfh.com
