Carol was a dog lover, and always had a furry friend or two in her home. Recently, while residing at Windber Woods, she kept patrol of the hallway, where she waited for visitors and greeted those passing through with her warm smile. Carol epitomized love and kindness in her actions and words, and she had strong faith in Jesus Christ and dedication to her family and friends. She was proud of her children and grandchildren, and deeply loved being part of their lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, Portage, or the Cambria County Humane Society in Carol's memory.

If you knew and loved Carol, let the same greeting and smile she shared with you be shared with those you encounter daily as a tribute to her.
