Iannone, Clara L. - 98 of Portage. Passed away on January 4, 2016 at Cambria Care Center in Ebensburg. Born June 9, 1917 in Portage. The daughter of Joseph and Maria (D'Amica) Iannone. Preceded in death by parents and sisters, Elinor Chappell and Josephine O'Donnell. Clara is survived by her loving nieces and nephews: George Chappell of Portage, Denton Chappell of OH, Bruce Chappell of CO, Paula Yusko of Portage, Constance Barrows of CO and Rodney and Anthony O'Donnell of Johnstown. At Clara's request there will be no viewing or visitation. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service which will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at The Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage. Committal will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Clara's name to John Paul II Manor, 856 Cambria Street, Cresson, PA 16630.
