Obituary for Connie M. Rocker
Rocker, Constance M. “Connie” – 72 of Lilly, passed away on May 7, 2019 at home. She was born on April 16, 1947 in Altoona. She was the daughter of John and Irma (Solomon) Kinney. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William “Bill” Rocker, a brother: Fred Kinney and a sister Dorthea Kenny.
She is survived by her children: Melissa wife of Todd Feathers of Portage, Joseph Rocker and wife Melinda of Lilly and Jason Rocker of Lilly, her grandchildren: Austin Feathers, William and Fence Rocker, Gage Hiner and Kaitlyn and Paitlyn Onder.
She is also survived by her sisters: Gloria wife of Howdy Eckenrod of Ebensburg and Theresa wife of Kenny Eger of Cresson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Connie was a loving mother and friend.
She enjoyed reading, playing solitaire, sodoku puzzles and crafting in the past with her niece Rita. She was a life member and bartender at the Benscreek Social and Citizens Club. Connie was an avid sports fan and she loved watching her favorite NFL Football Team, The Dallas Cowboys.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11 AM, Fr. James Spontak, Celebrant. Interment will be held in Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery in Summerhill.
