Obituary for David C. Ream
Ream, David C. – 34 of Trafford, PA, formerly of Portage, passed away on September 22, 2017. He was born on May 27, 1983 in Windber. He was the son of David and Deborah (Saulsbury) Ream. Dave is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Ronald G. Saulsbury and Henry A. Ream and his grandmother: Vina M. (Fisher) Ream.
He is survived by his parents of Portage, his siblings: Greg Ream and wife Theresa (Molnar) of Lilly and Holly wife of Ron Karageanes of Johnstown. He is also survived by his nephew Tyler Ream, and his nieces: Kaylee Ream and Abby Karageanes and his grandmother: Margaret A. (Shaffer) Saulsbury and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Dave was a 2002 graduate of Portage Area High School and he earned his certificate in cosmetology from the Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology in Johnstown. He was formerly employed by Philip Pelusi Salons in the Pittsburgh Area and he was currently employed by Primp Salon in Irwin, PA. Dave was a very kind hearted and outgoing person. A friend to everyone he met along the way. He was a big fan, if not the biggest fan of the Rock Band Kiss.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. of Portage. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday at the Hammers Street Church of God, in Portage, Pastor Don Jeffers and Pastor Jeff Blackburn, officiants.
