Berger, Dolores “Dee” 94 of Portage, passed away on November 11, 2024 in Johnstown. She was born on March 14, 1930 in Portage. Dee was the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth (Robel) Berger. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters: Louise Bulsok, Mary Lazere and Elizabeth Pollock.
She is survived by her life-long, friend, M. Elizabeth “Betty” Lazere of Portage and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dee was formerly employed and retired from the Sanders Bottling Company and Stagers Surplus Store. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and yard work around her home. Dee was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and she looked forward to every game.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 15th, 2024 from 10 AM until 11 AM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage. Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, at 12 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Portage, Fr. Thomas Stabile, celebrant. Entombment in St. Francis Xavier Mausoleum in Cresson.
