Obituary for Donna J. Thompson
Thompson, Donna J. – 76 of Portage, passed away on April 15, 2019 in Johnstown. She was born on April 28, 1942 in Johnstown. Donna was the daughter of Gerald E. and Virginia S. (Colebaugh) Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Gerald, Donald and William Thompson.
Donna is survived by her nephew: Paul Thompson and wife Michelle (Freidhoff) and their daughter: Alexis Thompson all of Portage; and nieces: Christa Stolz and her children: Kaila and Damian Stolz all of Altoona; Tracey wife of Matthew Croson of Virginia and Tara wife of Nathaniel Guldseth of Virginia. Donna is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was formerly employed for over 30 years with Fannie Mae. She loved to cook, bake and cake decorating. Donna loved to travel. She has traveled to all 50 States.
Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of Portage. Committal will be private to the family.
