Grove, Dorothy L. – 85 of Portage, went to her eternal life on March 30, 2018 at home. She was born on December 5, 1932 in Wilkinsburg, PA. She was the daughter of James and Evelyn (George) Ryan. She is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter: Shannon Klein.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years: William R. Grove of Portage and her children: Robert Grove and wife Julia (Wright) of Portage; Linda Grove of Portage; Karen Grove of Vinco and Sharon wife of Ron Swires of Portage. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Denny, Randi, Tina wife of Steve Dumm, Robin wife of Jeff Shrum, Adam, Ryan, Kayla, Kyler and KayDee, and greatgrandchildren: Steve, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Connor and Emma.
A former employee of the Antmart and Rosia Shoe Factory. Dorothy showed her love for her family and friends through her cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the dance lessons with her daughters when they were growing up and she loved coloring photos and pictures. Funeral Services will be private to the family. The Grove family is being served by the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage.
