Edward Alphonsus Burke passed away on November 25 2020 after a bout with covid and pneumonia . Born October 01,1941. in Portage township to Alphonsus and Anna Marie (RODGERS) Burke.
Survived by his loving wife Mary whom he married October 4,1980 .Also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews and many friends who loved him.
Ed was a kind and gentle soul. He retired from Laurel Crest Manor after 38 years . He enjoyed hunting, going to camp and family get togethers. Ed was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ebensburg Moose, Cambria County Retirees Association and the North American Hunting Club. He was also a Lifetime Member of the Portage Area Volunteer Fire Company.
Family and Friends are invited to attended a memorial mass on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church in Ebensburg, Fr. Brian Warchola and Fr. Larry Lacovic, celebrants. Committal is St. Bartholomew Cemetery in Wilmore.
