Stoke, Eleanor J. – 88 of Portage, passed away on July 3, 2022 in Ebensburg. She was born on December 11, 1933 in Portage Township. She was the daughter of John and Edna (Rhodes) Causer.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Joseph Stoke, her son: William “Bill” Stoke and her siblings: Mildred Novotny, Viola Bastine, Dorothy Crum, Gladys Thomas, and Calvin, James and Edwin Causer. Eleanor is survived by her children: Bernice wife of Walter Maul of Portage, Joseph Stoke, Jr. and wife Dena of Windber, Robert Stoke of Honey Brook, PA, Jean wife of Paul Russo of Downingtown, PA and Susan wife of Richard Bilinski of Gilbertsville, PA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister: Shirley Albright of Portage.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 1 PM until time of A Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM at the Portage Alliance Church, 911 Johnson Avenue, Portage, PA 15946, Pastor Cal Weidemann, officiant. Inurnment in St. Bartholomew Cemetery in Wilmore, PA.
