Obituary for Elizabeth Ann McIntosh
McIntosh, Elizabeth Ann “Betty” – 75 of Lilly, passed away on October 30, 2021 in Johnstown. She was born on January 7, 1946 in Spangler, PA. Betty was the daughter of George and Kathryn (Wyszynski) Lewarchik. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: William Lewarchik.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Rodgers McIntosh of Lilly and their son: Scott McIntosh (Amy) of Missouri. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mackenzie, Madison and Chase. She was the sister of Dorothy Anna of Carroltown and George Lewarchik of Northern Cambria.
Betty, along with her husband, Rodgers were the owners of Wishes Jewelry, where they specialized in hand made jewelry and biker apparel. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, especially for Christmas. Rodgers and Betty also enjoyed going to county fairs together and to flea markets.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Divine Funeral Liturgy on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 719 Chestnut Avenue, Barnesboro, PA 15714, Fr. Edward Pyo, Celebrant. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lilly Community Volunteer Fire Company, 505 Main Street, Lilly, PA 15938 and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
