Rosa, Gladys M. (Shaffer) - 90 of Martinsburg, formerly of Lilly, passed away on January 11, 2016 in Martinsburg. Born July 31, 1925 in Johnstown. The daughter of Paul and Mary Sloan Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents, former husband Leo Rosa, son: Rudy Rosa and these siblings: Paul Jr., Raymond, Edward, Dale and Judy Shaffer. Survived by Son: Jim Rosa and wife Cindy, Tavares, FL and Daughter-in-Law: Sue Rosa of Ellenton, FL. Also survived by grandchildren: Roy Rosa of Cresson, Renee Correa, and Lenny and Melanie Rosa, all of Bradenton, FL. and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of Jean wife of Richard Griffith of Johnstown, Anna Mae Vallee of Pittsburgh, William Shaffer of NY; Laverne wife of Fred DePalma of NY; James Shaffer and wife Bonnie of NY; Phyllis wife of Frank Lombardo of Richland and Lawrence Shaffer and wife Roxanne of Portage. Also survived by Sister-in-Law: Helena Shaffer. Gladys was a former member of Riverside Church of the Brethren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. where a service will be held that evening at 8 PM, Pastor Tim Dietrich, officiating. Commital will be private.
