Obituary for Harold Eshbaugh
Eshbaugh, Harold - 79 of Portage, formerly of South Fork. Passed away on February 22, 2014 at Maple Winds Care Center. Born December 27, 1934 in Worthville, PA. The son of Monroe and Lois Eshbaugh. Preceded in death by parents and these siblings: James, Maxwell, Robert and Doris. Survived by children: Eric Eshbaugh, Jason Eshbaugh and wife Bonnie (Moore), and Susan Eshbaugh and fianc�e Steven Ross, all of South Fork; grandchildren: Samantha McGregor, Courtnie and Coryn Eshbaugh and Alyssa and Brianna Eshbaugh; and great grandchildren: Kalib and Summer. Also survived by his brother Lawrence Quentin Eshbaugh of Brookville. Harold was a Korean War Army Veteran and a retired employee of Birk Transfer Inc. in Johnstown. A member of the Fraternal Order of Masons and the Jaffa Shrine. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, horseback rider and he enjoyed crossword puzzles. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. in Portage, where a funeral service will be held that evening at 8 PM, Pastor Terry Trudgen, officiant. Committal will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
