Obituary for Helen Marie Glynn
Glynn, Helen Marie – 72 of Lilly, passed away on July 28, 2021 in Corolla, NC. She was born on May 3, 1949 in Altoona. Helen was the daughter of Valentine and Phyllis (Albarano) Martynuska. Helen is preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Mary Jo Butch. She is survived by her loving husband Curtis “Corky” Glynn and her children: Valerie wife of Devin Zakrevicz of Pearland, TX and Michael Glynn and husband Nathan Pidcock of Boynton Beach, FL. Helen is also survived by her grandchildren: Rachel, Brian, Nicholas, Addison, Austin and Logan. She is also survived by her sister: Consiglia Martynuska of Lilly and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a devoted Catholic and was strong in her faith. At the Family’s request viewing will be private. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly, Fr. Matthew Reese, Celebrant and Deacon Samuel Albarano. Committal will be held in St. Brigid Cemetery in Lilly. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Helen’s name to a charity of your choice.
