Obituary for Holly M. Behe
Behe, Holly M. 40 of Portage, passed away on June 19th, 2024 unexpectedly, at home. She was born on July 17, 1983 in Altoona. She was the daughter of Jeffrey C. and Debra E. (Brown) Behe.
Holly is survived by her son, Jeffrey Swope of Portage, her mother, Debra Behe of Portage, her sisters, Brandi Brown and fiancé, Richard Armstrong of Lilly, Jessica wife of Chad Monfordini of Portage, Ashley wife of Jerry Zaman of Portage and Melissa wife of Jacob Goldyn of Portage. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Aengus Ryan, Ethan and Ashton Armstrong, Tanner and Parker Zaman, Isla Goldyn, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by ex-spouse and friend, David (Christina) Swope of Portage.
Holly was a fun, loving, kindhearted person. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. She loved her son and her family with all her heart. She was most recently the Store Manager at Rite Aid in Portage. She took great pride in her work where her co-workers, peers, and patrons quickly became extended family to her. She was formerly employed by McDonald’s in Portage where she started friendships that remain.
Family will receive friends from 12PM until time of 2PM Service on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage, Pastor Doug McCully. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Holly’s name to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
