Verish, Ida Mae - 104 of Portage, passed away July 9, 2013 in Portage. Born August 31, 1908 in Jamestown. The daughter of Louis and Elizabeth (James) George. Preceded in death by parents, husband: John Verish, infant son John, numerous siblings and son-in-law Anthony Tomaselli. Survived by daughter Dolores Tomaselli of Portage and these grandchildren: Annette wife of Richard Bernazzoli, Portage; Bruce Tomaselli, Portage; Anthony Tomaselli and wife Marcy (Gorney), Cresson and Therese wife of Brian Wolford, Portage. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and good friend Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli of Somerset. Ida was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Portage and also a member of the former St. Agnes Catholic Church in Cassandra where she served in the past as a housekeeper to the priests. At the familys request visitation will be private. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 11 AM, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Fr. Walter Moll and Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli, Celebrants
