Lysinger, Joanne L. ”Jo-Joe”(Talarigo), 69 of Portage, passed away on August 27th, 2024 in Pittsburgh. She was born on April 24th, 1955 in Johnstown. Joanne was the daughter of Joseph R. and Anna Mae (Polk) Talarigo. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Talarigo.
She is survived by her husband Ken Lysinger of Portage and daughters, Melissa Ann wife of Kelly Kreutzberger of Southmont and Karen Marie Lysinger of Portage. She is also survived by her brother, Ross Talarigo and his wife Linda of Altoona, her sister-in-law, Lisa Talarigo of Milesburg, nieces and nephews, Cora Talarigo and her fiancé Steve Casement, Meg Talarigo, Tony Talarigo, Jaime wife of Mike Borden, Alecia wife of Andy Heidt, aunts: Helen Claar and Irene Piatak, brother-in-law, Ron Lysinger and his wife Jhane and sister-in-law, Marianne Pavic and her husband Don and her beloved canine companion, Arlo.
Joanne was 1973 graduate of Portage Area Highschool. She was a former employee of Walmart. Jo-Joe was all about having fun and making people laugh. She enjoyed her music, playing pinochle, spoiling her fur-grandkids, making her house a home and spending time with her family and friends. She was proud to help her family in achieving their goal to become a co-owner with her daughter Melissa and Kelly, in Firehouse Subs.
Family will receive a reception of friends from 4 PM until time of 6 PM service on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage.
