Obituary for Judith K. Hoffman
Hoffman, Judith K., 82 of Windber, passed away on April 18, 2024 in Johnstown. She was born on July 29, 1941 in Somerset. Judith was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ripple) and Walter Penner. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul E. Hoffman, her son, Richard Hoffman, her grandson, Ryan Hoffman, her son-in-law: Jeff Berkey and her brother-in-law, James O’Hara.
Judith is survived by her children: Jeffrey Hoffman of Waynesburg, Paula Berkey of Berlin, Lori Hoffman of Windber and Deanna wife of Marc Franchic of Windber. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicole wife of Brian Pyle, Jr., Bryan Berkey and fiancée Savannah Cardinal, Ashlynn Jaber (Lenny), Cameron Jaber (Kayleigh), Shawn Hoffman, Brenan Franchic and fiancée Nikki, Ashlee wife of Josh Bloom and Nathan Franchic and her great grandchildren: Calvin, Ethan, Marianna, SeraFina, Xander, Luca, Eddie, Brinley, Weston and Presley. She was the sister of Janet O’Hara of Chambersburg.
Judith enjoyed planting flowers around her home and her seasonal outside flags. She loved Alan Jackson’s music and his concert. Most important to her was spending time with her family.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
