Obituary for Kimberly A. Stager
Stager, Kimberly A. – 53 of Portage, passed away on November 12, 2020 at home. She was born on December 13, 1966 in Johnstown. Kim was the daughter of Gary and Karen (Trusik) Stager. She is preceded in death by her brother, Dave Stager and her nephew, Tyler Flynn. Kim is survived by her loving parents and her siblings: Jeff Stager and companion Amanda Lipsinic of Portage; Trisha wife of Charles Slebodnick of Portage; Lisa Stager Fiance’ of Dave McCloskey of Portage and Josh Smith of Portage. She is also survived by her special nieces, Sumer Slebodnick, Carissa Thomas, Josie and Tessa Smith and special uncle John Trusik, special friend, Laura Tavernini and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Kim was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Football Fan. She enjoyed Sherb’s Black and Gold Nation and she loved singing on Smule. Most important to Kim was spending time with her family and going on vacations to the beach. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage. Please practice the recommended guidelines for social distancing. Masks are required unless you have a bonafide medical illness. The Stager Family encourages you to wear your favorite Steelers apparel to Kim’s viewing and visitation. Funeral Mass and Committal will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Portage Area Ambulance Associaton, P. O. Box 237, Portage, PA 15946 and/or the National Fibromyalgia Association, 3857 Birch Street, Suite 312, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
