Obituary for Lucy M. Hodge
Hodge, Lucy M. - 89 of Ebensburg formerly of Puritan passed away on September 18, 2012 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born February 8, 1923 in Portage. The daughter of William V. and Marcianna (Lurowriec) Grata. Preceded in death by parents, husband: Julius F. "Duke" Hodge, infant daughter Deborah and these siblings: Paul, Stanley, Joseph, Marie, Helen and Millie. Survived by sons: Paul Hodge married to the former Olga Tanner of Sidman; Julius "Butch" Hodge married to the former Donna Solarczyk of De Soto, Tx; and David Hodge married to the former Marian Roginski of Bel Air, MD; Grandchildren: Kathleen L. Maurer (Kim), Heidi L. Kopchik (George), Sherri L. Krug (Andy), Viki L. Krug (Patrick), Pamela Stangeland (Stuart), Kevin Hodge (Melissa), Joseph Hodge (Charlene), Heather Holdaway (Brian), and Russell Hodge. Also Survived by 24 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Lucy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former member of St. John Catholic Church of Portage. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM on Thursday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Portage. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Portage, Fr. Walter Moll, Celebrant. Committal in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery, Portage.
