Obituary for Margaret Bickleman
94 of Charleston, SC, formerly of Portage. Passed away on October 7, 2016. She was born on December 24, 1921 in Puritan, Portage Township .
She was the daughter of Andrew and Helen (Gbur) Knapp. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William R. Bickleman and her siblings: Anna, Mary, Helen, Susan, Paul and John. She is survived by her children: Dorothy wife of Scott Adams of Charleston, SC; William Bickleman and wife Kathleen (Sossong) of Powder Springs, GA; Margaret wife of Bob Barnard of Mobile AL; and Martha wife of Ken Burt of Missoula, MT. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a brother Andrew Knapp of Mt. Clemens, Mich.
Margaret enjoyed painting especially statues. She was a past member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in Portage.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Portage where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday. Committal is Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Summerhill.
