Obituary for Marsha M. Shockey
Shockey, Marsha M. - 57 of Portage. Passed away June 16, 2012 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born September 5, 1954 in Johnstown. The daughter of Edward T. and Magdeline (Zaher) Clinton. Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert Shockey, brother Robert Clinton and sisters Karen Wharton and Patricia Knight. Survived by daughters Chris Clinton and Kendra Ciokota both of Portage. Sister of Janet Palmer of VA Marsha was a former member of Portage Amvets Ladies Auxillary and the Benscreek Club Bowling League. She was a 1972 graduate of Portage Area Highschool. She enjoyed vacationing, going on cruises and she especially loved animals. Marsha will be sadly missed by her family and all that knew her. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Portage where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21 at 11 AM. Committal will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Marshas family for a charity of their choice.
