Obituary for Michael G. McIntosh
McIntosh, Michael G. – 51 of Gallitzin, passed away on September 30, 2022 in Ebensburg. He was born on April 14, 1971 in Johnstown. Michael was the son of Anthony and Judith (Lutz) McIntosh.
He is preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents: Shelly (Warner) and George Lutz and his paternal grandparents: Agnes (Moreland) and Francis “Edgar” McIntosh.
Michael is survived by his mother: Judith “Judy” McIntosh of Cresson and his son: Travis Strittmatter. He is also survived by his siblings: Frances McIntosh of Cresson, Barbara wife of Daniel Myers of Gallitzin, Carol Ritchey and companion Michael Mack of Portage, Patrick McIntosh and wife Trish (Mastri) of Cresson, his nieces: Angela Myers, Shannon McIntosh (Ben White), Sarah Myers, Brooke McIntosh (Lawrence Grimes), his nephew: Noah Ritchey (Emily Deihl).
He was an avid fisherman and loved to dance. Family was important to him and he was very protective of them. Michael was friendly to all and he was a very outgoing person. He was a member of the Benscreek Social and Citizens Club and the Lilly American Legion.
Family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of 11 AM memorial service on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage, Fr. Albert Ledoux. Committal will be private to the immediate family.
