Kotch, Michael W. Jr. - 22 of Portage. Passed away June 21, 2015 in Huntingdon County, PA. Born December 4, 1992 in Lancaster, PA. The son of Tina (Evans) Viscusi of Portage and Michael W. Kotch, Sr. of Columbia, PA. Preceded in death by Grandmother: Joan Edith Kotch and Great Grandmother: Mary Seganos and great grandfather: Calvin Evans, Sr. Survived by parents, siblings: Amanda and Dylan Kotch, nieces: Nevaeh and Laniah, Grandfathers: William Kotch, and Gary Sterner (Beth) and Great Grandmother: Lois Jane Evans. Also survived by special friends: Jessica Shaffer, Kaitlyn Weymer, Nate Barto, Jose Torres, and Reggie Thompson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Employed by Say-Core, Inc. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and sports. A 2011 graduate of Portage Area Highschool, where his various high school activities included performing with his infamous "Flying Z" guitar in the Walter Mitty Show and at the Sundance. He played the lead in Hamlet and he was a kicker for the Portage Area Highschool Football Team. He especially enjoyed sports when he played soccer for Bishop Carroll High School. He was a talented musician and he loved playing the guitar. His bright eyes and kind smile will be most remembered by his former crew at McDonalds, earning him the nickname "McMike". Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM on Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Committal in Prospect Cemetery in Portage. Pastor Don Jeffers, officiant.
