Obituary for Nancy L. Chelednik
Nancy L. Chelednik – 76 of Portage, passed away at home on October 14, 2018. She was born on February 17, 1942 in Carrolltown. Nancy was the daughter of Norbert and Genevieve (Shank) Gray. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Wendy Chelednik and several siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years: Dan Chelednik of Portage and her loving daughter: Renee wife of John Rose of Pittsburgh. Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren: Danielle and M. Adam Lahosky and 4 sisters.
She was retired from Sears with over 25 years of service in Security. Nancy enjoyed reading and spending time on her computer. She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At the family’s request there will be no viewing/visitation. Committal in St. Bartholomew Church Cemetery will be private to the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Interim Hospice and Nancy’s caregivers.
