Obituary for Nathan T. "Nate" Burk
Burk, Nathan T. “Nate” – 21 of Portage, passed away on November 24, 2019 in Lock Haven, PA. He was born on October 28, 1998 in Bethesda, MD. Nate was the son of Karen M. (Krisko) and Scott A. Burk.
He is survived by his loving parents and his siblings: Nicholas, Nolan and Olivia Burk all of Portage. He is also survived by his grandparents: Joseph and Mary Ann (Bodosky) Krisko of Portage, Richard and Susan (Michaels) Burk, his aunt: Kathy wife of David Pike of Hollidaysburg, his girlfriend: Mikayla Farabaugh of Cresson and his faithful canine companions: Whitman and Violet.
Nate was a 2017 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. He was very brilliant and he had a great sense of humor. He loved computers and hanging with his friends.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 500 N. Julian Street, Ebensburg, PA 15931. Funeral Mass and Committal will be private to the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Nate’s name to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, 728 Benjamin Franklin Highway, Ebensburg, PA 15931.
