Obituary for Patricia A. Rocker
Rocker, Patricia A. -87 of Portage, passed away on September 14, 2018 in Windber. She was born on May 18, 1931 in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Charles E. Cronauer, Sr. and Anna A. (Doyle) Cronauer. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward G. Rocker, Sr., great granddaughter: Hope Grace Barno and her siblings: Robert, Charles, Jr., Harold and Mary Cronauer.

She is survived by her loving children: Anne wife of Kevin Sullivan of Mechanicsburg, PA; Janet wife of Joe Huber of Leesburg, FL; Dottie wife of Paul Molnar, of Portage; Edward Jr. and wife Kim (Whitcomb) of Portage; Teresa wife of Keith Hagerich of Tucson, AZ; Marcia wife of David Gardy of Lanexa, VA; David and wife Michelle (Paikin) of Earlysville, VA and James and wife Patricia (Fyfe) of Edgewater, MD. Grandchildren: Michael Barno and wife Stacy, Christopher Barno and wife Sharon, Eric Croyle and wife Amanda, Rose wife of Morgan Kelly, Janine wife of Randy Sease; Jessica wife of William Earnest, Scott Molnar and wife Nicole, Beth wife of Doug Burkett, Sara wife of Dan Erzal, Molly wife of Brad Harrington, Mary Rocker, Rebecca wife of Kevin Zock, Jenna wife of Michael Caddell, Keith Hagerich and wife Cassie, Catherine Gardy, Samantha, Joshua, Amanda, and Steven Rocker. Great Grandchildren: Jackson and Liam Barno, Aurora, Ava and Aniston Croyle, Cody and Lindsey Sease, Nathan, Tyler and Jonathan Earnest, and Trinity and Xavier Molnar, Dominic Burkett, Maxwell and Brock Erzal and Bryce and Lucy Harrington. She is also survived by a sister-in-law: Marion Cronauer of Latrobe, formerly of Summerhill and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patricia was a 1949 Portage Area Joint High School graduate and a proud member of the High School Marching and Swing Band. She was a 1951 graduate of Mount Aloysius College where she obtained her Associated Degree in Business Management. She formerly worked as a bank teller in Portage. She and her husband Ed were active members for many years at the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in Portage where she served as a former business and office manager and as member of the church choir. Patricia was also formerly an active member of the Portage Area Historical Society. She formerly worked in the music department at the Portage Area School District where she taught music lessons. Most of all Patricia will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM on Monday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic in Portage, Fr. Thomas Stabile, officiant. Committal in St. Patrick Cemetery, Gallitzin.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to Holy Family Catholic Church, 509 Caldwell Avenue, Portage, PA 15946
