Obituary for Patricia D. Conklin

Conklin, Patricia D. – 86 of Ebensburg, passed away on June 23, 2023 in Ebensburg. She was born on July 10, 1936 on Henslow Road in Ipswich, England. Patricia was the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy (Westley) Gorham. She is preceded in death by her parents, her former husband and love of her life: Russell T. Conklin, her son: Robert M. Conklin, her daughter: Amanda M. Koenigsberg and her son-in-law: Don Lutch.


Patricia is survived by her loving children: Theresa J. Lutch of Hastings, Russell “Tom” Conklin, Jr. (Cynthia Gray) of Coupon, Kenneth Conklin (Cheryl Miller) of Carrolltown, Kathleen “Kate” Bender (LeRoy) of Ebensburg and Lynda Lankford (James) of Portage, IN. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren and her son-in-law: Rob Koenigsberg of Portage, PA. 


Patricia was the sister of Janet Gorham of OK; Christine Patey and companion Peter Alcock of Ipswich, England; Glennise Attfield of Shoe-Bury-Ness, Southend-On-Sea and Phillip Gorham and wife Pat of Warboys, Huntington, England.  Patricia lived a wonderful life. She had been remembered for saying that the best day of her life was when she came to America and became a U.S. Citizen. She was a world traveler. She enjoyed gardening, radio disc jockeying and horses in the past. She was an amazing story-teller. Most important to Patricia was her family, she loved, loved, loved her children and her grandchildren and spending time with them.


At Patricia’s request there will be no viewing, visitation or service. Committal will be private to the immediate family.
