Obituary for Patricia L. Shultz
Shultz, Patricia L. – 69 of Portage, passed away on September 22, 2022 in Johnstown. She was born on April 15, 1953 in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Agnes (Miller) and Charles Abbotts. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her Uncle Art and Aunt Lucy Abbotts, who raised her, and her son-in-law: Jamey Petrick.
She is survived by her loving husband Clarence Shultz of Portage and her daughters: Tricia (Paul) Burggraf of Clayton, NC; Misty Petrick of Portage and Sheila (Ron) Ward of Little Italy, AR and her grandchildren: Keira, Luke, Marisa, Sarah, Nick, Tyler and Mia. She is also survived by her siblings: Lill Abbotts of Portage, Charles Abbotts III (Candice) of Portage, Sandy (Larry) Oswalt of Portage, Thomas (Becky) Abbotts of Davidsville and Linda Kick of Portage.
Patty enjoyed hunting and fishing with her children and her husband Clarence. She loved water falls and spending time with her grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4 to 8 PM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11 AM at 1st Lutheran Church in Portage, Pastor Mark Fischer, officiant. Committal will be private to the family.
