Obituary for Paul J. Fisher
Fisher, Paul J. – 60 of Portage, passed away September 15, 2018 in Pittsburgh. He was born on July 8, 1958 in Spangler. He was the son of Cyril A. and Eleanor M. (Lantzy) Fisher. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Chelsea, sister: Vicki Dovala, mother-in-law: AnnaRose Mastalski and his brothers-in-law: Leo Gressick, Sr. and Raymond Bowman, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife: Karen (Mastalski) Fisher and his daughter Kayla Fisher, both of Portage. Paul is the brother of: Don Fisher and wife Phyllis of Bowling Green, KY; Sally wife of Mike McKasson of Tucson, AZ; Karen Gressick and companion Kevin Smith of Portage and Janice Bowman of Portage. He is also survived by his father-in-law: Jim Walters of Portage, his faithful canine companions: Max and Zoey and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his in-laws.
Paul was the owner and operator for over 25 years of Fisher Collision Repair in Portage. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially loved going camping with his wife Karen at Raystown. He enjoyed watching the Weather Channel.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Portage, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Committal will be private to the family.
