Obituary for Paul L. Hodge
Hodge, Paul L., 83, Johnstown, PA, formerly of Portage, passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 6, 2022 in Greensburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lucy (Grata) and Julius “Duke” Hodge and an infant sister: Deborah.
He is survived by his brothers: Julius “Butch” (Donna) Hodge of Desoto, TX and David (Marian) Hodge of Bel Air, MD. Paul shared life with his brothers and the loves of his life: wife Olga and daughters: Kathleen Maurer, Heidi Kopchik (George), Sherri Krug (Andy) and Viki Krug (Partick). He was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will continue to love them, as well as his beloved Pittsburgh Panthers.
Friends will be received Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2 to 8 PM at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 111 Alberta Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15905, where Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will be at 7 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Mary Church. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Special Projects Fund or to a charity of your choice. The Hodge Family is being served by the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc., Portage.
