Obituary for Paul Moyer
Moyer, Paul “Farmer”, 64, passed away at home on January 21, 2022 after a 6 year battle with colorectal cancer. Born on October 15, 1957 in Altoona, the son of the late Francis and Rita (Stoltz) Moyer. Preceded in death by his parents, brother John, sisters Joan Moyer, and Carla Weaver, brothers-in-law: Elmer Rickens, David Endler and Wayne Weaver.
Survived by loving wife of 26 years, the former Sandra Leja, brothers: James (Sonja), Victor, Francis and sisters: Dona Rickens, Mary Grace (Murray) Watts, Kathleen Moyer, Rose (Pat) Boland, Ann Endler, Christine Moyer, mother-in-law: Regina Leja, brothers-in-law: Frank, Dennis and Richard Leja and sister-in-law: Mary Moyer, daughter: Christina Novella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and many good friends.
He was a 1976 graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He proudly owned and operated Moyer Trucking for many years, til he became ill. He was a member of the Bear Rock Sportman’s Club and Jamestown Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing, visitation or services.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. is serving the Moyer Family.
We would like to thank everyone at Davita Dialysis, Ebensburg, especially, Shelby, and Family Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Paul. Paulie, you’ve spent your time in hell, now it’s time for Heaven at last. You will be forever in my heart, with all my love, Your Honey Sandy.
