Salkeld, Paula J. - 49 of Portage. Passed away on June 5, 2013 at home. Born October 28, 1963 in Johnstown. The daughter of Mary Ann (Latherow) Sigado and of John Sigado. Proceeded in death by maternal grandparents: Anna and Frank Latherow, Jr. and paternal grandparents: Elizabeth and Daniel Sigado. Survived parents, husband, Barry Salkeld of Portage and these children: Leann wife of Jim Decort of Portage, James Heidler of Portage, John Sigado (Leah Harlow), of Aliquippa, William Salkeld of Portage and Jesse Salkeld, at home. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and mother-in-law: June Gallaher of Wilmore. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Portage where funeral services will be held that evening at 8PM, Fr. Walter Moll, officiant. Paula was a kind and loving, wife, mother and daughter and she was loved by all who knew her. Committal will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
