Obituary for Penny S. Spaid
Spaid, Penny S., 64 of Portage, passed away on May 22, 2024 at home. She was born on June 30, 1959 in Johnstown. Penny was the daughter of Tom and Carol (Benton) Plummer. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, John L. Spaid, III.
Penny is survived by her companion, Dale “Bacon” McCabe of Portage and her children: Jason Spaid (Ashley) of Sidman, Jerry Spaid of Portage and Jodi Spaid of Portage. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kaleb and Haiden Mathieson and Abigail and Noah Spaid. She was the sister of Tim, Tom, Dave and Jeff Plummer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the help with final expenses.
