Obituary for Raeanne (Crum) Ross
Ross, Raeanne - 52 of Portage, Passed away December 19, 2014 in Windber. Born March 30, 1962 in Johnstown. The daughter of Allan Ray and Dorothy Jean (Chappell) Crum. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by father and children: Randi wife of Michael Phillips of Johnstown and Corey Ross of Portage. She was the sister of Dave Crum and wife Bobbie (Wallis) and Bill Crum and wife Kelly (LeCrone) all of NC. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Heidi, Tyler, Casey, Aaron and Alexandra "Alex". Raeanne was a 1980 Graduate of Portage Area Highschool and she was employed as the Director of Finance for Allegheny and Chesapeake Physical Therapy. Raeanne was a loving daughter, sister and mother and an "Angel" to all that knew her. She will be remembered for her smile, her positive attitude, and her big heart. Above all Raeanne loved her family and her friends and she always put them before herself. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Monday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Portage where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM, Reverend Paula Dell Campbell, officiant. Committal in Mount Union Cemetery in Summerhill. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Raeanne's name to Windber Hospice and/or Conemaugh Hospital Pallative Care Unit. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff, caregivers and volunteers at Windber Hospice and at Conemaugh Hospital Pallative Care Unit for all the love and care given to them and Raeanne.
