Smith (Wesner), Renee D. - 66 of Johnstown, passed away on Saturday August 25, 2018 at home. She was born on March 27, 1952 in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Lewis and Elizabeth (Doell) Wesner.
Renee is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers: Lewis Wesner, Jr. and Francis Wesner.
She is survived by her daughters: April Van and her wife April Lea, and Amy Stephens, who was also her caregiver, all of Johnstown. Renee is also survived by her sister: Cheryl Horner of Bedford, sister-in-law: Sarah Wesner of Johnstown and her grandchildren: Elizabeth, Brandon, Kyler, Shawn, and Gracie and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a great great niece. She also leaves behind her beloved canine companion Abby. At the familys request there will be no veiwng/visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
