CARPENTER - Richard W., 75, Blue Knob, passed away March 23, 2014, at UPMC Altoona. Born May 22, 1938, in Johnstown, son of Leonard and Florence (Walk) Carpenter. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Rosemarie (Lavely) Carpenter; and children, Stephanie L. Jones, Ducansville; Richard L. Carpenter, Blue Knob; Brian M. Carpenter, Johnstown; and Mark A. Carpenter and Steven D. Carpenter, both of Blue Knob. Also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. At the family's request, funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carpenter Family, c/o 197 Dodson Drive, Portage, Pa. 15946. The Carpenter family is being served by Matthew R.
