Obituary for Richard Paul McCann
McCann, Richard Paul - 90 of Johnstown, passed away on November 10, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 22, 1927 in Johnstown. The son of John Joseph and Mary Jane (Fugue) McCann. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, and these siblings: Paul, Donald and Mary Jane.
He is survived by his children: Rebecca wife of Doug Martin, Sara “Sally” wife of Robert Gorman, Pamela wife of John Felix and Richard C. McCann and wife Joan (Spaid). He is also survived by grandchildren: Sara, Rachel, Jennifer, Matthew, Dustin, Caitlyn, Samantha, Kayla, Deven and Tamra, and numerous great grandchildren. Richard is the brother of Joann Sedi and Jack McCann.
He was a WWII Army Veteran who served his Country proudly. He enjoyed having coffee and chating with his friends. Most importantly Richard loved spending time with his family. At the deceased’s request there will be no viewing and/or visitation. Funeral Services will be private to the family. The McCann Family is being served by the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. of Portage.
