Obituary for Robert W. Sinclair, Jr.
Sinclair, Robert W. Jr. – 80 of Portage, passed away on May 13, 2023 in Portage. He was born on December 7, 1942 in Lilly, PA. He was the son of Robert Sinclair, Sr. and Margaret (Chambers) Cassel. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step father: Paul Cassel, his daughter: Peggy Sue (Sinclair) Miller and his siblings: Donna Marie Sinclair, Charles Adkins and Thomas Tucker.
Robert is survived by his siblings: Betty Lou Sinclair of CA, Jean Carol Sinclair of PA, Beverly (Tucker) Weatherwalk of Altoona, James Tucker and wife Mary of Portage and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his daughter: LaMonna (Sinclair) Wheland of Portage and Robert Sinclair of Beaverdale and his stepdaughter: Heather (Nagle) Barto of Portage.
Robert enjoyed fishing, playing cards and picking blackberries. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 from 12PM to 2PM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage. Committal will be held in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Blue Knob.
The Family would like to thank all the hospice workers: Amanda, Peggy, Jamie, Heather and Margaret for their extraordinary care and compassion for Robert.
