Obituary for Rosalia "Rose" Omler
Omler, Rosalia “Rose” – 100 of Portage, passed away on June 9, 2019 in Ebensburg. She was born on June 30, 1918 in Hamtramck, Michigan. She was the daughter of Vincent and Sophia (Bargiel) Lasko. She is preceded in death by her parents, her children: Frank, Beatrice and Helen and her siblings: Bruno, Theodore and Walter Lasko and Theofila Zies.

Rose is survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was an active member of the former Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Portage, where she assisted with housekeeping.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 14th, 2019 from 11AM until time of service at 1 PM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage, Fr. Thomas Stabile. Entombment will be private. Rose requested no flowers to be present at the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Rose’s name to your local Humane Society.
