Roseann is survived by her sister, Barbara Jean wife of John Plewa of Cresson. She is also survived by her 3 daughters: Kimberly wife of Frank “Rocky” Pohopin of Portage; Tammy wife of Dem Whitcomb of Cassandra and Terry Chappell of Sykesville, MD. Roseann was affectionately known as “Grandma Rosie” to her 6 grandchildren: Jill wife of Eric Maul of Summerhill; Katie wife of Wesley Lloyd of Cresson; Lacey wife of Anthony Kittell of Gallitzin; Natoscha wife of Ryan Taylor and Michael Howard, all of Sykesville, MD; Hunter Whitcomb of Cassandra and her 12 great grandchildren: Dayton, Aivah and Emalynne Maul; Adyson and Joseph Lloyd; Madelyn, Ella, Sophia and Jack Kittell and Gerard, McKinley and Isla Taylor.
Roseann will be missed by all that knew her especially her fur baby, Maggie. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Cresson, Gallitzin Sportsman’s Association and Women of the Moose, Gallitzin Chapter. Most importantly, Roseann, loved spending time with her family.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. of Portage. Family will also receive friends from 12 PM until time of service at 1 PM on Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Cresson, Fr. Matthew Reese, Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Cresson.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963.
