Obituary for Roy E Long, Sr.
80 of Holtwood, PA, formerly of Portage, passed away on March 10, 2021 in Holtwood. He was born on January 16, 1941 in Shoemaker, Portage Township. He was the son of Alex and Dorothy “Barb” (Morgan) Long.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Dorothy wife of the late John Burick and Alex and Charles Long.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret “Louise” (Stevens) Long and his children: Roberta Long and Roy Long, Jr., all of Holtwood. Roy is also survived by his sister-in-law: Leda (Maley) Long of Clairmont, CA.
At Roy’s request there will be no viewing, visitation or service. A Memorial Service will be private to the immediate family. Committal will be held in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Blue Knob.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17604. The Long Family is being served by the Matthew R.
