Obituary for Theodore Mark Drass
Drass, Theodore Mark , 75, Cresson, died January 4, 2019, peacefully at home, surrounded by his wife and family. Born April 13, 1943, in Cresson, son of the late Elwood and Kathryn (Batulis) Drass.
Survived by wife, Mary (Kennedy); children: Theodore Mark Jr. (Katherine), Park City, Utah; Kay Cee Drass Jacobson, Boulder, Colorado; and Kim Quatrino (Phil), San Diego, Calif.; and grandchildren Hunter, Daisy, Nick, Erik, Clare, Phil Jr., and Madeline. Also survived by siblings: Jim Drass and Joe Drass, both of Cresson; Kathy Wyland, Loretto; brother-in-law, Phil Kennedy, Lafayette, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marine Corps Veteran of Viet Nam Era. He had been employed as an accountant with various manufacturing companies in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Mark enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and fishing. Member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and American Legion Post 238, both of Cresson. Life member of Cresson Sportsman’s Club.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Wednesday, January 9th at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Rev. Leo Arnone, on Thursday, January 10th at 10 AM. Committal in church cemetery.
Military graveside rite by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown V.F.W. and other local veteran organizations. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Nursing Agency Hospice Program, www.homenursingagency.com, for the loving care given to Mark and his family.
