Obituary for Thomas S. Suchta
Suchta, Thomas S. – 56 of Lilly, passed away on October 16, 2022 in Altoona. He was born on May 9, 1966 in Altoona. He was the son of Mary Ann (George) and Steve Suchta. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Tom is survived by his loving wife: Linda M. (McCabe) Suchta of Lilly and their daughters: Lauren Suchta of Portage and Emily Suchta of Lilly. He is also survived by his brothers: John Suchta and his husband Jeff Bennett of Lilly and Michael Suchta and his wife Linda (Zacur) of Cresson, his niece: Amanda Zacur of Ohio and his nephew: Colin Suchta of Lilly, his mother-in-law: Judy McCabe of Portage, his brother-in-law: Todd Cadwallader of Portage and nephews and niece: Travis Cadwallader of Portage, Tyler Cadwallader of Hollidaysburg and Taylor Cadwallader of Portage.
Tom served his Country proudly as a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was last employed as a corrections officer at S.C.I. Benner. He was a member of the Lilly American Legion Post Post #628 and a member and past president of the Lilly Slavish Citizens Club (Sokols).
