Obituary for Timothy Allen Beck
Timothy Allen Beck, 37, of Lilly, PA, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born in Altoona, PA, son of David C., Sr., and Margaret S. (Clay) Beck, of Lilly, PA.
Surviving are his loving parents; grandfather, Francis J. Beck, of Cassandra, PA; brother, David C. Beck, Jr., and his wife, Julie, of Oakmont, PA; sister, Emily M. (Beck) Hanna, and her husband, John, of Wilkins Township, PA; and nephews and nieces: Charles T. and Roxanna K. Beck, both of Oakmont, PA, and Maxwell A. and Margaret L. Hanna, both of Wilkins Township, PA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Stanley L. and Ruth A. (Riley) Clay and Patricia R. (Smith) Beck.
Tim was a 2003 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a degree in Business. He was employed as a caretaker at the Carmelite Monastery of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in Loretto, PA.
Tim was a kind and gentle soul, and he was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, and bandmate affectionately known to his nieces and nephews as “Monkey Tim." He enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews, caring for animals, nature, reading, movies, making and listening to music, and drawing.
Remembrance and interment services will be private at the request of Tim’s family. Donations or volunteering in memory of Tim may be coordinated through the Jubilee Soup Kitchen (https://www.jubileesoupkitchen.com) in Pittsburgh, PA, or any charitable organization, especially those that support our disadvantaged neighbors or animals.
