Obituary for Timothy F. Michrina
Michrina, Timothy F. “Tim” – 31 of Portage, passed away on July 6, 2021 in Northern Cambria. He was born January 23, 1990 in Johnstown. Tim was the son of Alan W. and Ann (Schultz) Michrina. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Francis and Ann Mae (Young) Michrina and his maternal grandparents: John and Laura (Betterman) Schultz. He is also preceded in death by his uncles: Barry Michrina and Jack Schultz. Tim is survived by his parents of Portage and his sisters: Catt Michrina of Johnstown and Alyssia wife of Alex Lee of Ebensburg and his girlfriend: Mercylynette Muchiri of Northern Cambria. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: David, Chessa, Carson, Alex and Laura and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tim was a Teacher at Northern Cambria School District who was well loved by all of his students and a former teacher for over 3 years in Alaska at Lower Kuskokwim School District. He enjoyed theatre and the arts and a deep love of music, playing guitar with his bandmates and friends. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc in Portage. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Benedict Catholic Church Cemetery in Carrolltown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s name to the family or your local school district's Drama Club. Online condolences may be made at www.decortfh.com
