Cadwallader, Tracie L. - 46 of Portage, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on August 9, 2018. She was born on December 21, 1971 in Roaring Spring. She was the daughter of Alvin L. and Judith A. (Smith) McCabe. Tracie is preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law: Ronald J.“Chook” Cadwallader, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, her loving husband Todd Cadwallader and her children: Travis, Tyler and Taylor, all of Portage. Tracie is also survived by her siblings: Pam Lytle, Kim Smith and Linda Suchta, her mother-in-law: Christine Cadwallader, and numerous niece, nephews, cousins, in-laws and her faithful canine companions. Tracie was a loving wife and mother. Her children were her life. She enjoyed camping and boating at Raystown Lake with her family along with arts and crafts. She was a former employee of Portage Area School District where she served as a member of the Cafeteria Staff.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to8 PM on Monday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Portage, Pastor Arthur Black, officiant. Committal in Propsect Cemetery will be private to the family.
