Obituary for Vickie J. Semanchik
Semanchik, Vickie J. (Krajewski) – 69 of Portage, PA, passed away, Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was born on May 1, 1953 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Yoder) Krajewski. She was preceded in death by parents, siblings Chuck, Ken, Ronnie, Carole and Garry, brother-in-law: Chopper Marhefka and in laws: Joseph and Josephine Semanchik.
Survived by loving husband of 48 years, John, children, Tammy (Reg) Thompson and Travis (Colette) Semanchik. Grandchildren: Austin, Shyenne, Megan, Ryan, Walker, Ashley, Bridget and Ariella. Siblings, Connie Marhefka, Linda (Ed) McConnell, Larry (Sharon) Krajewski and sisters-in-law, Liz McNertney, Betty Krajewski and Beverly Wirick and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Vickie was retired from Chartwell. She enjoyed life and spending time with her friends and family. She loved quad riding, camping, hunting, fishing, the cottage, kayaking and passing her traditions onto her children and grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8th from 2PM until time of memorial service at 6PM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage, Pastor Robert Kristoff. On-line condolences may be made at www.decortfh.com
