Obituary for Walter F. Jaap, Jr.
Jaap, Walter F., Jr. “Wally” – 54 of Portage, passed away on August 13, 2018 in Altoona. He was born on June 2, 1964 in Johnstown. The son of Walter Jaap, Sr. and Illona (Belinda) Jaap. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Wally is survived by his daughter Harley Crum of Portage and his siblings: Robert Jaap and wife Jenny of Jacksonville, FL; Natalie wife of Harry Prosser III of Cresson; Michael Jaap and wife Rebecca of Cresson; Kimberly wife of Michael Regan of Greenbackville, VA; and Doulgas Jaap of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wally proudly served his Country in the Navy as a Damage Control Officer on the USS Forrestal. Military Honors by the Portage Ritual Team. At the family’s request there will be no viewing and/or visitation. A Graveside service will be private to the family. ete at this time
