Maquilken, William A., 89 of Johnstown, passed away on August 11, 2024 at home. He was born on February 19, 1935 in Johnstown. Bill was the son William W. and Helen (Custer) Maquilken. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janet L. (Beam) Maquilken of Johnstown and their children: Bruce W. Maquilken of Johnstown, Terri wife of Brent Roxby of Geistown and Judi wife of Edward Alexander of Portage. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Derek (Holly), Jakeb (Tara), Emma (Zach), Tyler (Elayna) and Trevor and his great grandchildren: Sawyer, Maggie, Asher, Sonny and Myles.
Bill was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a retired biology teacher at Richland High School with over 34 years of service, where he also taught photography with Vo-Tech. He enjoyed wood working and most important to him was spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 from 11 AM until time of 1 PM Service at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, Johnstown, Pastor Chris Valente.
